Hernando Arcila is the 3rd generation coffee farmer behind this distinctive single estate coffee. Using a clever two-step process, he produces beans with a hit of juicy fruit sweetness and a smooth, velvety finish.
The ripest coffee cherries are picked, placed inside waterproof bags, and immersed in water for 48 hours. This extended fermentation process draws the coffee cherry’s fruity sweetness into the coffee bean. The beans are then washed and sun-dried on raised beds for 18 days, resulting in the smooth finish. We lightly roast to enhance these qualities.
Sweet, white peach and citrus with caramelised nut overtones. Smooth and velvety to finish.
