ROASTERS’ CUP – GARGARI GUTITY
ABOUT THIS COFFEE
From Ethiopia’s Gediyo zone, Gargari Gutity coffee is grown in the high-altitude region of Banko Gutity Kebele, 22km from Gedeb Town. Cultivated at 2,349 MASL, the fertile soil and rainfall create ideal conditions for exceptional coffee. The cherries are processed at the Gargari Gutity washing station, located at 1,983 MASL, which features 180 drying beds and fermentation tanks.
This coffee is sourced from 2,400 small-scale farmers who hand-select only the ripest cherries. The station’s expert team applies a range of processing methods—washed, honey, natural, and carbonic maceration—each contributing to the coffee’s vibrant flavour profile and clean finish.
Gargari Gutity coffee is a reflection of dedication and craft. From careful cherry selection to precise processing, every step is designed to highlight the region’s unique terroir. Each cup celebrates the farmers’ commitment to quality and the diversity of Ethiopia’s coffee heritage.
