At the COMSA Cooperative in Honduras, they embrace the new and different. To create this intensely fruit-forward specialty coffee, these producers have used a natural process, an approach that’s quite tricky to manage due to the humid climate. Coffee cherries are handpicked and dried as whole fruit. This process takes several weeks during that time all the delicious fruit sugars from the coffee cherry are absorbed into the coffee bean. Once dry, the coffee beans are removed from the dried fruit. We lightly roast to amplify these fruity & sweet flavours. This coffee has taste notes of syrupy strawberry, creamy yoghurt, and raisin.

Taste notes for this coffee are strawberry, yoghurt, and raisin.

Brew method: Suitable for all soft brew methods

Limited supply – available in 200g bags

Roasters’ Cup is our way to try new beans, put small batch coffees, different flavour profiles & unique origins in the spotlight. We roast them light to medium to reveal  interesting taste notes that growers have worked hard to develop. Our roasters work with micro-lots from growers who are producing green beans with unique & complex characteristics. These delicious coffees are crafted for you to expand your palate, coffee knowledge & add a little bit of adventure into your daily coffee ritual.
